For our future state-of-the art 600+ person Lubbock, TX cheese and whey manufacturing facility, Leprino is seeking aQualityTeam Member.
Leprino Foods broke ground on the $1 Billion facility in the summer of 2022. The plant becomes operational in 2024 with Phase 1 and will become fully operational by 2026 with Phase 2.
Starting Pay:
$23-26 for Team Member positions, depending on role
$30for Team Lead positions
Additional $1/hr for time worked between 6pm and 6am
Additional $1/hr for Relief positions
Paid Weekly
Positions include: Sanitation Team Leads, Lab Team Leads, Relief Techs, Powder Techs, Micro Lab Techs, Raw Milk Lab Techs, In Process Lab Techs, Melt/Cheese Grading Lab Techs
Schedule:Varies by position. 12 hour shifts, day and nights available. Weekends and holiday availability required.
+ Responsible for the safe operation of its associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices.
+ Responsible for maintaining 5S standards, and participating in and implementing continuous improvement.
+ Communicate effectively in relaying information to team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers as applicable.
+ Have strong time management and organizational skills.
+ Meet food safety and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan and company policies.
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Ability to speak, read and write the English language
+ Understanding of basic chemistry or biology, and basic lab equipment/testing through on the job experience, or through high school or college coursework
+ Basic math skills to be able to perform mathematical functions
+ Ability to complete required documentation, both in written and electronic form
+ Ability to enter and pull data from computer systems
+ Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs
+ Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures
+ Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices
+ Ability to lift moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift.
+ Ability to stand/walk throughout the shift
+ Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold areas
+ Ability to work Overtime, Nights, Weekends, Holidays, and 12.5-hour shifts
Lifting Requirements:
+ 30 lbs Mid Chest Lift
+ 55 lbs Pallet to Head Lift
+ 44 lbs Chest to Head Lift
+ Stair Climbing
+ Ladder Climbing

+ Prior experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment
+ 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment that operates 24/7/365. This includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
