What you will do:Conducts day to day analysis and tests several areas in the quality control program which include data analysis, systems evaluation, and product assessment. Ensures day-to-day operations are carried out in an efficient and appropriate manner, correcting any irregularities. Controls and reviews the organization's current processes to ensure the short-term and long-term quality standards business objectives are met.

How you will do it

  • Proactive approach to supporting the manufacture of products to meet requirements.
  • Identify problems thru auditing of product and processes, and work with leadership to provide resolution and prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
  • Utilize data generated to provide potential root causes for special cause events.
  • Transaction of material in SAP, Access database and NMR database.
  • Compile and analyze data to create Power Point presentation for all Quality metrics.
  • Be proactive in recognizing and communicating potential quality issues to leadership.
  • Solve problems identified during quality activities and implementing solution as approved.
  • Communicates issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides/recommended process improvements to leadership.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of manufacturing requirements and standards.
  • Participates in cross functional teams as needed for continuous improvement activities.
  • Work under the direction of Quality Engineer on special projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What we look for:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work safely at all times, with a passion to win, having a customer focus, as part of a unified one team.
  • Proven manufacturing experience with reading drawings, dimensional inspection, troubleshooting issues and reporting.
  • Ability to work overtime (including weekends) to support the needs of the plant.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decision making ability, and computer skills.
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
  • Willingness and desire to learn quality tools not limited to: Control Plan, Flow Chart, PFMEA, 8D, Parado, SPC, A3, and ISO 9001.
