Job Description :
The Quality Technician plays a critical role in the quality control processes, ensuring that all products and services comply with rigorous quality and reliability standards. This position involves systematic testing and evaluation of materials and processes, along with data analysis to drive continuous improvement. Job Duties Conduct detailed testing of products and services, utilizing statistical methods to analyze results and generate actionable recommendations for quality enhancement. Ensure all products and services meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous inspection and documentation processes. Proficiently utilize various gaging instruments and measurement systems, ensuring accurate application and calibration to maintain data integrity. Oversee the management, maintenance, and repair of gaging equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Operate and monitor advanced inspection equipment, collecting and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Procure necessary gaging supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory levels to support ongoing quality assurance activities. Ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Recommend modifications to existing quality standards, methodologies, and procedures based on analysis of quality data and industry advancements. Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements. Maintain a high standard of workplace organization and cleanliness following 5S methodologies. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the quality assurance team. Experience and Education Typically require a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control or a similar technical role within a manufacturing or production environment.Demonstrated ability to work under general supervision, addressing moderately complex issues independently and escalating complex problems to senior staff as needed.In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies and regulatory compliance standards.Expertise in interpreting technical work instructions and quality specifications.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Proficient in the use of gaging instruments, with a strong understanding of their applications in quality measurement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
