DescriptionThe Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure that nonconforming products are not produced or shipped to customers. This role is critical in providing inspection support and implementing process improvements tosustain and enhance product quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to conduct audits and inspections on product quality in accordance with Zebra's quality assurance processes.
- Assist in the investigation of nonconforming materials and report findings to authorized vendors as necessary.
- Engage with management and team members to address new or complex issues effectively.
- Support the implementation of quality plans for new products.
- Understand and apply technical requirements while delivering outputs based on established technical frameworks.
- Contribute to the support of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Preferred Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Work Experience:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to learn and understand technical information.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) and local language as applicable.
- Beginner-level skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
