Quality Technician

Job Description Summary

This posting is for a 3rd shift Quality Technician. The Quality Technician is responsible for helping to maintain quality standards of produced parts while adhering to the company policies and procedures.

Job Description

* Regular part inspections on the floor and in the laboratories

* Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts

* Operate computerized gauging in quality labs

* Inspection and disposition of gages

* Coordinating sort activities

* Complete weekly LPAs

* NCM inventory and organization

* Meet time and schedule standards assigned for work

* Identify and record any problems relating to product, process and quality system

* Provide input on improving operation efficiencies

* Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency has been corrected

* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

* Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)

* And any additional work required by your supervisor

Required Skills and Education

* High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

* 1-3 years of experience in quality preferred and/or 3-5 years in the manufacturing field.
