Quality Technician - Aerotek : Job Details

Quality Technician Weekly Pay $20+/hr PLUS Shift Differential

Job Description

We are the world's largest bottler for retailers and A-brands. Our products are distributed worldwide from our production sites in Europe and North America. Although our own branding may not appear on the labels of the beverages we produce, there is a good chance you are reading this while sipping one of our drinks.

Hard Skills

• Adhere to health and safety policies/procedures

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Adhere to food quality and safety standards

• Conduct analysis on raw deliveries, syrup batches, and treated water

• Maintain accurate and legible records of all tests and retests

• Complete required reports in a timely manner

• Perform chemical and physical analysis on raw and intermediate processing materials

• Evaluate finished products against current standards

• Check process control parameters

• Maintain proper operation, cleanliness, and calibration of laboratory equipment

Soft Skills

• Work closely with all departments to improve quality and efficiency

• Utilize free time effectively by assisting other technicians or production personnel

• Complete special projects and other reasonable duties as assigned

• Communicate effectively with incoming shift technicians

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness

• Inform lead hand or QA Manager if replacement is late

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Waco, Texas.

Work Environment

Refresco Beverages/Coca Cola facility in Waco. It is a flavoring facility. Night Shift opportunity: 7pm - 7:30am, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off. Will be off work every other weekend and everyone works a 6-hour shift every Monday whether it's an off day or on day.
