Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob DescriptionAmtec manufactures ammunition for the military. Verify piece part and assembly conformance per all required specifications. Perform destructive testing as specified. Use of micrometers, calipers, comparators, dial indicators, force gauges, and non-contact measuring equipment. Must be able to interpret part drawings, ASTM specifications, Mil-Std Specifications, and various inspection procedures. Must understand and be able to recognize the various geometric symbols and know what they mean. Familiarity with ISO calibration procedures is an added benefit. Will perform first article and 100% full dimensional piece part reports in front of U.S.G. personnel. Will be working with a large range of personnel such as Engineers, Manufacturing personnel, various management resources and representatives from the U.S.G. Must have good working knowledge of Statistical Process Control. Weekend shift: FR, SA, SU (36 hours - flexible on start times). Try to keep hours between 40-50 hours a week. 2 other Techs on 2nd shift. Climate-controlled and very clean shop with 2 facilities next to each other.
