This is a position for a (Quality Technician) located in Cleveland.Summary: The Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner works as part of an inter-professional team to provide efficient, high-quality, cost-effective care in the outpatient clinic setting, telehealth visit, and occupational medicine. Works under the supervision of a Medical Director and in a collaborative practice model within the scope of licensing and credentialing and in accordance with privileges allowed. Obtains patient history and performs assessments using interview, observation and physical examination and orders and interprets diagnostic testing as needed for patient care and provides direct patient care and management of health conditions utilizing prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, staff development and education, patient and patient caregiver education and assumes responsibility for professional development.Duties and Responsibilities: Perform tests and document test results. Perform product sampling. Perform functional testing of product. Comply with all specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and forms that pertain to the above area Perform department audits as required. Assist with the running of protocols. Review specification and SOP changes. Write SOPs for area of responsibility. Comply to plant environmental health and safety regulations. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.Job Specifications or Qualifications:Associate degree in a related discipline preferred or 0-3 years related experience. High School diploma/GED required. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds; ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds. Ability to reach above shoulder to perform work. Ability to climb on ladders. Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. Ability to bend/stoop. Ability to stand for long periods at a time. Ability to work overtime as required. Required to meet visual acuity requirements per Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity SOP CL-01-01-037. Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
