Position Overview:

This position is responsible for performing various quality assurance tasks to ensure product integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and analysis of inspection and test results and related improvement actions.

Perform quality inspection of product. Perform process audits.

Develop AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).

Creation of Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR). Perform Receiving Inspection including XRF testing.

Will use the following programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MANFACT, PDF Converter (NitroPro), scanning software, image editor, Access database, IHS, NorthClark, OneNote.

Will use the following tools and equipment: Ring light, microscope, camera, scanner, micrometer, caliper, ruler, scale, X-Ray, XRF, and more.

Will read and interpret assembly drawings, mechanical drawings, component specifications, production work instructions, inspection instructions, and test procedures.

Will track customer returns and in-process defects as well as Corrective Actions.

Job Specifications / Qualifications:

Education and Expertise / Experience:

Associates degree in electronics or equivalent education or experience.

Trained in J-STD-001, trained to IPC-610, -620, and -600 a plus.

Electronics manufacturing experience.

Experience and knowledge of electronic components.

Experienced and proficient using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database (Access).

Understand Yield charts, pareto charts.

Proficient in troubleshooting production problems.

Must be able to understand schematics, assembly drawings, mechanical drawings and recognize geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.

Training Required:

Trained in J-STD-001, trained to IPC-610, -620, and -600 a plus.
