Quality Technician - Vollrath : Job Details

We are seeking an individual for the position of Quality Engineer. This person is responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of quality systems in the areas of new product introduction, manufacturing processes, and continual improvement activities in accordance with Company procedures.Responsibilities

• Assembling all elements necessary for internal and customer approval, establishing and maintaining QA systems for new or changed products.
• Production Support Activities - Assist in introduction, and ongoing maintenance of quality systems and procedures. customer requirements, and other quality fundamentals.
• Calibration - Manage, complete and document; calibrations, vendor calibration activities and traceability to standards.
• Coordinate Measuring Machine - Run existing programs per requirements.
• Auditing - Participation in customer and internal system audits. Maintenance of quality performance reports (from internal and customer sources).
• Problem Solving - Provide technical assistance to all areas of the company in resolving problems. This includes customer complaint investigation and coordination of corrective action activities.
• Technical Communications - Communication of standards, procedures and special instructions for the manufacture or of new or revised products. Track, analyze and report on materials, processes and products to ensure they meet the organization's quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience is preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Quality or Business.
• Experience with basic quality techniques and manufacturing quality such as;
• Inspection methodology, Statistical Process Control, Problem Solving
• Coordinate Measuring Machine experience a plus
• Systems Documentation
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to use independent judgment in decisions regarding product quality.
