Quality Technician - Verstela : Job Details

A manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team!This company has been in business for over 50 years. They manufacture and distribute a wide range of pipe products for the waterworks and wastewater industries- all made here in the US! The company prides itself on its products' quality and ability to quickly meet requirements for its customer's custom designs.This is a direct-hire job opportunity with plenty of career growth!Quality Technician Job Duties:

• Inspecting and verifying parts, including dimensional checks, welds, finishes, markings, and component configurations, typically using visual inspection and simple tools
• Reviewing material test reports (MTRs) and confirming they meet required standards
• Conducting basic root cause analysis for materials and collaborating with Engineering and Purchasing
• Utilizing Oracle materials management software to electronically record and track materials
• Performing weekly process audits in various production departments and creating audit reports

Quality Technician II Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Experience with print reading, defect recognition, and finishing
• Proficiency with tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and digital indicators
• Strong communication, computer, and mathematical skills
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday

• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
