Quality Technician - Ametek : Job Details

The Quality Technician works with engineering and manufacturing to ensure products meet all applicable specifications. Further, the technician supports Operations and Customer Service in meeting business goals and customer expectations. Duties and Responsibilities Ability to complete a wide variety of complicated inspection procedures and tests for incoming material and finish production parts Ability verify, receive and log incoming material against packing slip Ability to identify and assign packages and containers to proper stocking location or distribution point Ability to perform tooling inspection or receiving inspection to a wide variety of parts, components of different sizes, shapes, machining, castings, and other purchase parts by following standard quality control procedures Ability to read basic mechanical and electronic drawings, specifications, and packing sheets and comprehend and follow other written and verbal technical instructions.
