Quality Technician - Caterpillar : Job Details

This role will report to the Quality team and will work with a cross functional team to develop inspection methods and frequency for critical parts and fixtures. Performs advanced inspections on fabricated and purchased finished parts and reports on materials and products ensuring conformance to company quality standards. We have a fabulous team that does some of the most exciting work at Caterpillar, and we cant wait for you to join the team!! What You Will Do:Identifying, analyzing, and resolving non-conformances. Investigating problems on purchased finished, rough, and interplant materials. Interacting with cross functional team members to determine root cause of quality issues and ensuring corrective action is put in place. Education requirement:Candidates should either possess a relevant degree or demonstrate strong proficiency using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) tooling.
