The OpportunityOur client is a manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for various industries including aerospace, defense, and medical. They have hired us to seek out a Quality Technician for their Manchester, PA location. This position reports to the Vice President and Quality Manager and is responsible for monitoring and performing physical inspections to ensure quality requirements meet company policies and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience:Conducting thorough receiving, first piece, patrol, and final inspections to ensure conformance with customer and purchase order requirementsManaging equipment calibration processes and maintaining gage inventory controlMaintaining detailed inspection records and quality control documentationParticipating in Material Review Board meetings and managing non-conforming material reports Qualifications include:Minimum of 5 years machine shop experience and 2 years quality inspection experienceHigh school diploma requiredProficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancingExperience with inspection equipment including CMM, microheight, gages, and calipersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook The preceding is just a brief overview – contact us to find out more!
