Quality Technician - Barkman Honey : Job Details

DescriptionServes as a critical layer of defense in our quest to ensure that all product packaged by Barkman Honey meets customer specifications.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - You conduct inspections of product in packaging and audits of drums staged at ovens to verify that customer specifications are being met. - You review, scan, and index (store) quality records as directed. - You support compliance activities related to audits, documentation, record keeping and non-conformance investigation. - You perform product grading, testing and sensory analysis (including honey tasting), quickly and accurately. - You monitor the production environment and critical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. - You do your part to keep the lab clean, orderly, and stocked with supplies. RequirementsTOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED: - You have an excellent eye for detail, noticing small inconsistencies or deviations from standard procedure. - You are patient and thorough, taking the necessary time to properly inspect and evaluate the products or documents under review. - You are very organized and able to execute testing protocols according to work instructions. - You are comfortable with computers and consistently perform detailed and accurate data entry. - You are able to collaborate with your team to solve problems and minimize mistakes.
