Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quantitative models using C++ and Python to analyze large and complex datasets.
- Design and implement database management solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval, storage, and processing.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and leverage Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Build, calibrate, and rigorously back-test statistical models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including traders, portfolio managers, and risk management personnel, to support data-driven strategies and decision-making.
- Continuously refine and optimize models and processes to align with evolving market conditions and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science) with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with prior work experience.
- Proven coding experience with C++ and Python.
- Proficiency in database management, including SQL or similar technologies.
- Advanced skills in Excel and a deep understanding of statistical methods and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build, validate, and maintain statistical models, preferably in a financial services context.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying analytical techniques to generate actionable insights.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly involving complex models and large-scale data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries.
