Currently, they are looking to hire a Macro Quantitative Developer to join the firm.
Position Overview:
As a Quantitative Developer, you will work closely with research and trading teams to develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated quantitative models and trading strategies. You will play a critical role in enhancing the data infrastructure, back-testing environment, and real-time trading systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to design and implement quantitative models and trading algorithms.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software for data acquisition, storage, and analysis.
- Optimize and parallelize code to ensure high performance and low latency in trading systems.
- Implement and manage back-testing frameworks to validate trading strategies.
- Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity and quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience in quantitative development, ideally in a hedge fund or financial institution.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and/or signal processing.
- Familiarity with financial markets, instruments, and trading concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience handling large-scale data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
