Currently, they are looking to hire a Macro Quantitative Developer to join the firm.

Position Overview:

As a Quantitative Developer, you will work closely with research and trading teams to develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated quantitative models and trading strategies. You will play a critical role in enhancing the data infrastructure, back-testing environment, and real-time trading systems. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-calibre team in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to design and implement quantitative models and trading algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software for data acquisition, storage, and analysis.
  • Optimize and parallelize code to ensure high performance and low latency in trading systems.
  • Implement and manage back-testing frameworks to validate trading strategies.
  • Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in quantitative development, ideally in a hedge fund or financial institution.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and/or signal processing.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, instruments, and trading concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience handling large-scale data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
