Quarry Operator, union - Carey - CRH PLC : Job Details

To assist the Foreperson with daily production duties by operating various pieces of heavy equipment and performing other miscellaneous plant related functions. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintains awareness of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Healthy Administration) and/ or MSHA (Mining Safety & Health Administration) regulations. Works as a team member with other employees within the facility to ensure a smooth and safe operation. May be required to ensure that the crusher is fed consistently while maintaining all safety regulations (at quarry locations). Operates Haul Truck, Loader, Skid Steer, and other necessary pieces of equipment within the confines of the facility. Performs a pre-trip inspection of vehicle condition daily and informs foreperson of any problems prior to beginning work. Assist with plant equipment maintenance and clean up as needed.
