Queens Area - FLSD (Z89) - Fire & Life Safety Director - Winfield Security : Job Details

Winfield Security has successfully provided security services for over 45 years and is now a part of the Tarian Group of Security Companies. We are based in Midtown Manhattan and we provide unarmed Security Guard Services to a large variety of clients throughout New York City. Our Officers and leaders are provided competitive wages, training, and an environment to succeed. We are growing and we are looking for a new Fire & Life Safety Director (FLSD) to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
• Provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards
• Immediately respond to emergencies & provide necessary assistance
• Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and accident investigations
• Standing, patrols, access control, log books and incident reports

Qualifications and Skills

• A valid NYS Security License - Required
• FDNY F89 or F85 or Z89 - Required
• Experience in Fire Drills and Security Patrols
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of giving and following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• High School diploma/GED recommended
