Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition Title: Quotation Specialist - Foodservice EquipmentReports to: National Product Sales ManagerLocation: Kalamazoo, MI Employment Status: Full-TimeFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition Summary: Join Aldevra's dynamic sales team as a Quotation Specialist, focusing on foodservice equipment, parts, and supplies. This role does not require prior experience in foodservice; comprehensive product training will be provided. The ideal candidate will excel in reading and interpreting customer requirements and creating accurate quotes based on specific requests. The ideal candidate will embody our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven, and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Accurately interpret customer inquiries to identify product needs, including model numbers and quantities.
  • Use quoting software and CRM systems to prepare and send detailed quotes to customers, ensuring alignment with their specifications.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, professional manner, maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and coordination in addressing customer needs.
  • Keep up to date on product knowledge through training provided by the company.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tech-savvy, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems (experience with quoting software and CRM preferred).
  • Ability to learn and quickly apply new information.

  • Ability to engage with customers effectively, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

  • Working effectively within a team setting to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
