The Quoting Clerk is an essential part of the team, responsible for accurately estimating costs and facilitating the sales process. Reporting directly to the Quoting Manager, this role involves handling quotes from start to finish, ensuring that all customer specifications are met, and costs are precisely calculated.

  • Develop Bill of Materials (BOM): Create detailed BOMs from existing harness drawings, ensuring all materials and components are accounted for.
  • Quote Entry: Accurately input quote data into the system, maintaining detailed and organized records of each quote.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as necessary to support the quoting process and assist in the team's smooth operation.
Requirements:
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish (100%) to facilitate clear communication with a diverse clientele.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills for accurate calculations and estimates.
