• The Food R&D Technologist is a professional that plays a critical role in Research and Development which is responsible for continuously innovating new products and refining existing processes.
• In this role, you'll support evolving consumer demands while staying ahead of the competitors.
• This includes diverse activities like enhancing packaging sustainability, discovering novel ingredients, and improving production efficiency.

What You Bring:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, food engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of Food Science: Food technologists need a strong understanding of food science principles, including food chemistry, microbiology, food processing techniques, food preservation methods, and food safety regulations.
• Laboratory Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and practices is important. This includes knowledge of analytical methods, quality control procedures, and the ability to conduct tests and experiments on food samples.
• Technical Skills: Food technologists should have strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis software, computer-aided design (CAD) software for product development, and familiarity with food processing equipment.
• Industry Knowledge: Staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in the food industry is essential. This includes knowledge of new ingredients, processing technologies, sustainability practices, and consumer preferences.
