Work ShiftCompensation RangeThe base pay scale for this position is $50.36 - $59.71. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. What you will be doingOverview:Join our inclusive and diverse team at HSS, where you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art imaging facilities. As a Radiologic Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic medical radiography for patients of all ages, ensuring that everyone feels respected and cared for during their experience. You will conduct radiographic examinations using both stationary and mobile equipment while upholding the highest safety standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and storing equipment, guiding patients through their exams, and accurately documenting relevant information.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for patients across various age groups.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients during imaging procedures.
- Maintain and store imaging equipment properly to ensure optimal functionality.
- Educate patients about the procedures and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Accurately log and document examination details and patient information.
Requirements:- Current ARRT - Registered Technologist Certification (RT).
- Valid NYS license and registration at NYS DOH (LRT).
- Flexibility in scheduling to provide coverage, including potential weekdays and Saturdays.
- Proven reliability and commitment to patient care.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in CT/OR is preferred, but not mandatory.
