- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of X-ray technologists, ensuring they follow best practices and quality standards. Assign tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient and timely completion of imaging procedures.
- Conduct regular development opportunities to staff.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure optimal staff performance and productivity
- Works closely with Department Medical Director and preforms quarterly meetings with department.
- Ensure that all X-ray procedures are performed in accordance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Performs or delegates quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Maintain patient safety during imaging procedures, including positioning and radiation protection techniques.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable health and safety regulations.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as needed, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Assist with patient positioning, ensuring comfort and safety during the imaging process.
- Evaluate images for clarity, quality, and technical accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
- Provide exceptional patient care, communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
- ARRT Radiography (R)
- Three (3) years of clinical experience
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a leadership role
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
