Join our exceptional team and help us continue to provide the highest quality of health care possible to our communities.*Job Summary:*The Radiology Support Assistant will assist with the flow of imaging images and reports from all the modalities used for the care of each patient within the system.*Essential Functions: ** Assists the technologists with the daily workflow of imaging patients.* Verifies patient identification using two patient identifiers. * Transports patients from other units and departments to the radiology department.* Escorts patients to and from the waiting room to the appropriate department.* Prints reports, makes CD's, and electronically share images as requested. * Receives, imports, and logs outside images into PACS and Epic.* Utilizes e-sharing image solution to expedite image transfers.* Maintains appropriate tracking mechanisms for incoming and outgoing imaging records. *Education:** High School Degree or GED (required)* Associate degree (preferred)*Licensure/Certification:** Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)*Experience:** EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience (preferred)* Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) experience (preferred)* Healthcare experience (preferred) *Skills & Abilities:** Demonstrates problem solving, active listening, time management, organization and adaptability skills.* Possesses ability to provide a strong customer service via email communication and phone etiquette in a high stress environment.* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite and radiology imaging anatomy.Many of our opportunities reward* your hard work with:Comprehensive, affordable medical, dental and vision plansPrescription drug coverageFlexible spending accountsLife insurance w/AD&DEmployer contributions to retirement savings plan when eligiblePaid time offEducational AssistanceAnd much more*Benefits offerings vary according to employment statusAll applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, genetic information, or protected veteran status, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
