Radiology Technologist - Medical Forefronts Management Solutions : Job Details

Job Type Part-time Description We are seeking a Certified Radiology Technologist to join our busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center! We have Full Time and Part Time opportunities available and are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience. This opportunity offers a break from the rough schedule and hustle of hospital settings and is perfect for someone looking for a more personalized care experience and exposure to new specialties. Primary job responsibilities include:

• Preparing and positioning the patient for radiological procedures.
• Protecting patients, yourself, and other staff from radiation exposure by practicing established precautions.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by surgeons.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying the center and equipment procedures.
• Utilizing various equipment (C-Arm, lithotripsy, etc.) in accordance with equipment specifications.

Requirements

• Current certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the State of New York
• Current certification in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• One year of experience as a radiology tech
• Experience working in ambulatory surgery centers preferred
• Experience working with the following specialties preferred: Ophthalmology, Plastics, General, Orthopedics, Pain Management, OBGYN, Robotics, and Urology

Salary Description $45-$60/hr
