Rail Maintenance Worker - Utah Transit Authority : Job Details

Are you ready to help move us forward? UTA is looking for a Rail Maintenance Worker!

This position performs track inspection and maintenance/repair duties in a safe, orderly, and productive manner. You will operate equipment, including on-track equipment and vehicles necessary for the performance of track maintenance, repair, landscaping duties, and other rail support activities.

Pay Range: $25.07 - $30.07 per hour starting (five-year wage progression)

Experience:

• Successful completion of training program and post-training qualification period.
• Ability to acquire appropriate certification for track maintenance work.
• One year of experience in construction or related work. Track maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain Class A CDL and DOT Medical card.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver's License.
• Be a safe driver with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Have no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or any drugs within the past 10 years.
