The Role of Ramsay's Kitchen General Manager:

We currently have an opportunity for a General Manager of Ramsay's Kitchen restaurant to join the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. The role of Ramsay's Kitchen General Manager oversees all facets of the restaurant. The manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service demonstrated by the restaurant staff. The manager is also responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining the staff. This role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for individuals who have a thorough knowledge of guest service, cost control, labor control, menu writing, merchandising, and accounting. Must be able to train and provide an environment conducive to employee development. The right candidate will have experience in leading people, coaching, and creating a culture that is people-centric, aligning with our Four Seasons values. Applicants are required to have two to three years of previous employment in a related position. A college degree is preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Restaurant General Manager role at a full-service restaurant
  • Experience leading a team of people and developing entry-level managers
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to communicate in a clear, concise, timely, and consistent manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a luxury hotel environment, or another hotel in the Four Seasons portfolio
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or other relevant field of study
