Ranch Hand- Full Time, Walt Disney World - Disney : Job Details

We provide daily animal care including feeding, grooming, washing, working, and cleaning the stables. As well as additional animal training, environmental enrichment, and mental stimulation and report on animal health to the leadership team. We provide outstanding Guest Service while educating Guests on our animal collection and ensuring the safety of our Guests while working around equine. Physical farm chores include loading, unloading, and checking equipment of the Guests along trail rides. Ranch Hands perform repetitive heavy lifting of 50-70 lbs including overhead, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling, in addition to working with hay, dust, wood shavings, grains, and a variety of animals. Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum one (1) year of experience working with horses safely including riding, and/or driving single and multiple horse teams.
