IntroductionThe Division of Fish & Wildlife conserves and manages Delaware's fish and wildlife and their habitats, and provides fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing and boating access on nearly 65,000 acres of public land.Click here for more information about the Fish and Wildlife Division.SummaryStatementThese positions will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Ommelanden Hunter Education Training center and public shooting range. Primary job duties include operating, loading, and maintaining trap and skeet shooting machines, ensuring range safety policies and procedures, and general grounds maintenance and facility cleaning and upkeep. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and applicants must have experience with safe firearm handling. Customer service and mechanical/maintenance skills are desirable, but not required.Essential FunctionsEssential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.
