Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, Onsite, Moses Lake, WA
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
* Inspection of materials for damage, delivering materials to designated areas, receiving materials into inventory system. Handle and move chemicals by hand, cart or forklift.
* Categorize, estimate, and verify form-fit-function of materials during the receiving process and incoming quality analysis process.
* Inspect materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
* Verify sizes, quantities, and packaging based on issued purchase orders, Purchase Specifications, and future needs.
* Ensure proper labeling of segregated and accepted materials in the storage areas.
* Review and provide input on procedures and forms which will be used when training or instructing others.
* Maintain materials due to expire or materials which do not conform to established Purchase Specifications or requirements by working with department owners, EHS, and Laboratory.
* Manage systems related to receiving, inventory, and delivery. Verify receiving documents, quality documents, and maintain updated electronic inventory system.
* By following the Incoming Raw Materials Process, Raw Materials Tech will review CoA, update inventory system, transfers and adjustments in inventory system, segregation of materials, labeling of materials, coordinate material sampling, inventory and cycle counts, and other duties as required.
* Recommend changes to systems related to receiving, inventory, and delivery.
* Ensure tools and safety supplies are adequate for the jobs being performed. Solicit input from peers related to tools and safety from operators.
* Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, including departmental goals.
* Year-End Inventory Count Coordination with MLI Accounting and Production Divisions.
* Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge applicable to the job. Show a willingness to update skills/knowledge corresponding to new technologies and practices.
* Proficient with MLI established procedures related to raw materials and required purchasing specific job functions.
* Uphold all MLI policies and MLI Code of Conduct.
* Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
* Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 2 years of Warehousing / Inventory, Operations Management or Logistics experience, preferably R&D and high-volume-manufacturing (HVM) environments.
* Advanced working knowledge of computer and MS Office suite.
* Exceptional arithmetic skills and written and verbal communications in English.
* Demonstrated ability to:
* Work and communicate within team, upward, cross-functionally & cross-organizationally.
* Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
* Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
* Maintain physical condition and health to be able to timely perform assigned job duties.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Forklift experience highly preferred and ability to obtain and maintain MLI forklift certification.
* Experience in semi-conductor or high-tech experience or chemical background preferred.

Summary pay range: $22-$25/hour.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are generally performed indoors in a high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc.
