As Real Estate/ Business Development Analyst, you'll use your analytical, advanced Excel and software program skills to grow and support Gables Third-Party Management business. Responsibilities include a wide range of duties vital to the success and growth or our company. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Impactful role in Gables new Third-Party Management business growth strategy
  • Verify property information for appraisers and dispositions
  • Develop and/or utilize financial models and software
  • Conduct annual budget development and production portfolio wide
  • Manage process and maintain integrity of regional market surveys.
  • Assist in the analysis of quarterly forecast reports
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
  • Review monthly and quarterly financial statements and evaluate variances and trends in operating income and expense (relative to Gables, as well as competitors)
  • Assist in the preparation and review of reports including quarterly market updates; monthly/quarterly property performance; variance reporting; annual strategic reviews and business plans
  • Comprehensive understanding of Gables Residential and the multi-family real estate industry to ensure proper context for presentations to new clients
  • Prepare and lead effective presentations which inform and educate future clients to Gables' operating platform.
  • Develops relationships and partnerships with corporate/regional management and associates in various departments to facilitate fee management growth
  • Maintains constant and consistent communication with operations teams in all regions
  • Abides by our organization's policies, including the Code of Conduct Policy
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the multifamily housing or real estate industry
Attendance/Travel
  • Ability to work hours as need to perform position requirements satisfactorily as a salaried position exempt from overtime. The position is scheduled for a typical 40-hour workweek, but travel, training and additional demands may call for significantly more hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel within the United States, travel time averages 20 percent but may increase or decrease based on needs
  • Ability to pay all travel expenses up front, to be reimbursed by company after approval
Licenses/Certifications/Other
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of job's functions
  • Major credit card for travel purposes
