Our client is an Am Law 200 firm looking for candidates with substantial broad-based commercial real estate finance experience.
About the Firm
- The diverse commercial real estate practice focuses on the middle market and includes representation on both the lender and borrower sides
- This practice encompasses a wide array of sophisticated transactions such as senior mortgage loans, construction loans, leveraged loans, mezzanine financing, preferred debt and equity investments, as well as A-Note and co-lender transactions
- Their clients reflect the diversity of the practice and include commercial banks, private debt funds, private equity investors, insurance companies, REITs, developers, and other participants in the real estate investment market
Your Profile
- They are seeking candidates who have the experience or a strong desire to first chair transactions and manage deals, supported by the talented teak
- Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, possess strong drafting and communication skills, and work well with both colleagues and clients
- Hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans
- Experience as a key member of deal teams, including managing key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing
- Large law firm experience is strongly preferred
- JD and strong academics with 2+ years' of relevant experience
The firm pay Cravath scale and only require 1800 hours for bonus eligibility
