Position: Real Estate Associate Attorney
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Type: Full Time
Rate: $130k to $165k/Per Annum
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Client's legal team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to real estate, negotiating real estate transaction terms, and managing the transfer of property titles. The role requires exceptional decision-making, research, and communication skills to ensure transactions are legal, binding, and in the best interest of the clients.
A successful candidate will be professional, organized, and well-informed, with strong networking abilities and excellent interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review legal documents relating to real estate transactions.
- Negotiate the terms and conditions of real estate deals.
- Facilitate the transfer of property titles, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients regarding real estate matters.
- Conduct thorough research to support legal decision-making and client representation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
- 7-10 years of experience practicing Real Estate Law.
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight, manage priorities, and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to creatively achieve organizational goals while assessing and mitigating legal risks.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex legal matters across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Centerbase experience is a plus.
