Real Estate Associate - HIA Legal : Job Details

We have been exclusively instructed by the Chair of Global Real Estate at one of our best clients on an opportunity in their leading real estate practice in New York. The team is ranked by Chambers USA and Legal500 for real estate and the calibre of work and remuneration scale speak for themselves.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, fund formation, and leasing.

This position affords significant client interaction and requires a high level of responsibility within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing purchase agreements, lease agreements, and other real estate-related contracts.
• Create, develop, organize and maintain substantive content for the practice group including forms, precedents, checklists, and charts
• Assist with various thought leadership initiatives relating to developments and trends in the Real Estate industry
• Advising clients on real estate laws, regulations, and potential liabilities

Qualifications

• JD or LL.M. or equivalent
• 2-5 years professional working experience
• Admitted to New York State Bar Association
• Ability to solve problems, both technical issues and situations involving collaboration with attorneys and non-legal staff/departments
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
