A law firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Real Estate Evaluation and Forecasting Specialist.Responsibilities The Real Estate Evaluation and Forecasting Specialist will:

• Develop and maintain models to forecast property taxes for buildings under various abatement programs
• Monitor changes in tax laws, abatement programs, and market trends that could impact property tax forecasts
• Property Valuation Assessment
• Determine fair market value of real estate based on analysis
• Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and rationale for property tax assessment
• Partner with attorneys to present valuation information for Tax Commission hearings
• Identify technologies to enhance forecasting and property valuation processes

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role
• Interest in real estate
• Experience utilizing systems to improve processes
• Positive attitude and team oriented
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate data in a succinct and clear way
