  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • 7 years of work-related skill, knowledge and experience is required.
  • Experience must include work related to real estate principles, practices, precedent cases, and comprehension of the technicalities of government real property procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Course Work or experience related to real estate principles, practices, precedent cases, and comprehension of the technicalities of government real property procedures, rules, and regulations is required.
  • Note: Matrix and resume should detail any course work or experience related to Real Estate principles, practices, precedent cases, and comprehension of the technicalities of government real property procedures, rules and regulations. Provide a list of the specific course work/classes being claimed as qualifying , including a list of specific hours for each class and the name of the education institution where the classes were taken (for example: Courses taken at Portland State University: Real Estate Principles USP 233 - 3 semester hours; Real Estate Law USP/RE 438 - 3 semester hours, etc.). Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix)
  • Professional knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, and underlying concepts of Real Property Services, which may include Geospatial Services, Survey and Mapping, Real Property Field Services, Realty Support Services, or experience coordinating projects that include these / similar support services.
  • Knowledge and experience with a Land Information System (LIS) and Application Extender.
  • Knowledge of land management, acquisition templates, and commercial facility leasing. Knowledge of real estate documents including but not limited to: Warranty Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, Quit Claim Deeds, Liens, property title reports, and assessor/treasurer property information reports.
  • Knowledge of the general concepts of real estate management and commercial facility leasing which may include geospatial services (GIS), survey and mapping, LIDAR imagery, or obtaining information from title companies/county courthouses.
  • Knowledge and experience acquiring real property rights for utility easements.
Preferred Skills & Experience (optional on matrix)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with MS Project.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
(not required on matrix) Valid U.S. Driver's License is required. Notary License/Commission/Appointment for the state of OR or WA is required within 60 days of assignment start . Worker/Employer is responsible for maintaining current license. PPE Requirements White Hard Hat Footwear: ASTM F 2413-11 with an EH Rating or ASTM F2413-18 with an I/C/EH Rating. Footwear must lace up over the ankle and have a rigid sole and heel. The exterior of the boot must be made entirely of natural materials (all leather or leather and rubber combination) to conform to Arc-Flash requirements.   • Travel is required for meetings within the BPA's operational areas off-site as needed for scheduled meetings, site visits, etc. Travel may include some overnight stays.
