We manufacture and market prestressed concrete (PC) strand and welded wire reinforcement, including engineered structural mesh, concrete pipe reinforcement, and standard welded wire reinforcement for concrete reinforcement applications. About You

The person we are looking for has proven capabilities as a leader and excellent organizational skills. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of accuracy. You also enjoy working on a remote team that has a high level of collaboration and communication.

Position Snapshot

A detailer is commonly expected to understand concrete reinforcing products, have a general knowledge of basic building systems, and experience in AutoCAD or BIM applications. To be successful in this role you will:

* Work with team members to design, layout or detail components and structural systems.

* Perform rebar to engineered structural mesh (ESM) conversions and provide shop drawings as necessary to support ESM product designs.

* Troubleshoot and modify drawings as needed.

* Provide drawings that are thorough, accurate, and complete in proportion to the level of customer information provided

* Provide conversions that facilitate economic manufacturing.

* Assists with Project Manager and/or estimating responsibilities as needed.

Requirements and Education:

* Extensive professional, technical or administrative training (bachelor's degree/civil engineer/structural); broad knowledge of general Civil Engineering including a working knowledge of CAD.

* Experience in Revit or other BIM applications.

* Understanding of concrete reinforcing systems.

* General understanding of basic building systems.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Proven capabilities as a detailer.

* An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
