THE POSITION

* Receive raw material into warehouse

* Sort deliveries, file documents based on record retention requirements

* Create and apply labels for necessary traceability of material data (lot code) and usage on line

* Work with plant logistics and suppliers for standardization of labels to reduce re-labeling efforts

* Get trained to safely operate PIT (powered jacks, forklifts, etc)

* Assist warehouse team with movement of raw materials to correct storage or staging locations

* Create shipping Facility Tickets to fix any items needed for shipping

* Monitor shipping pass down spiral log, replace books as needed

* Perform daily checklist items for all warehouse items (e.g. forklift/pallet jacks

* Update QS9000 documents to help Warehouse comply to our OJT standards

* Create visual aids, update the visual t-stands and visual wall boards

* 5S Visual compliance; Safety practices; Recycling standards

* Daily/weekly SHINE activities in warehouse: dust, sweep, structure, reduce unwanted items

* Drive continuous improvement activities within our shipping area, reduce, lean, better utilize, implement (any aspect to help our shippers and work as a team

* Develop idea management items and share to management to drive continuous improvement

* Ensure OJT compliance kept up to date

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* HS diploma or equivalent

* Outstanding Communication skills

* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours. Must be able to Push, Pull Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hours.
