Job Description :
The Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our hospital's supply chain management. This position is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving, storing and distribution of all supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals in the Hospital. The Receiving Clerk collaborates closely with various departments to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that all items are properly recorded in the hospital's inventory management system.Key responsibilities include verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with vendors to resolve issues. The Receiving Clerk will also maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months or less related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of shipping and receiving principles.
  • Basic working knowledge of inventory control.
  • Basic working knowledge of mail procedures.
  • Must have good communication skills.
