Job DetailsJob Location Warehouse-- 2024 Ave C - Lubbock, TX Position Type Full-time Education Level High School graduation or GED Salary Range $16.79 Hourly Travel Percentage Local Travel/More than 50% Job Shift Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Job Category Distribution - Shipping Description StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Receiving Clerk to join its outstanding Procurement Team. The Receiving Clerk will function as a support staff member for StarCare and will maintain a supportive attitude and work in harmony with all StarCare staff. Responsibilities:
  • Receiving shipments of supplies and equipment,
  • Verifying packing lists and delivery tickets with items received, noting any damaged, missing goods, or equipment from shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Coordinator,
  • Collect all packing slips or shipping labels and turn in to Warehouse Coordinator as shipments are received,
  • Route all shipments destine for Central Stores to the Warehouse Coordinator as they are received,
  • Provide Courier Services to deliver Central Stores orders and other received incoming shipments to StarCare Programs and facilities as directed,
  • Take outgoing packages to UPS or FedEx drop off locations for shipping as directed by Procurement Director,
  • Provide back up to company Mail Courier as needed to insure no interruption of company mail service,
  • Provide backup to Warehouse Coordinator as directed by Procurement Director,
  • Complete other non-routine assignments when assigned and on time,
  • Assist with special projects or assignments as needed or as requested.
Essential Duties:
  • Communicate information to supervisor and other company staff, customers, and vendors in a timely manner or as directed,
  • Complete all required documentation,
  • Provide administrative support to Procurement Director and other administrative departments as requested.
Schedule:This is a full-time/non-exempt position scheduled Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the department. QualificationsQualifications:
  • High School graduation or equivalent,
  • plus two (2) years of related work experience is required.
  • Prefer experience in purchasing, receiving and/or inventory in a hospital setting. Local travel, using agency vehicle, is required .
Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge and skill in operating standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, etc.,) including personal computer with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and email, etc.) is required
Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must have a Texas driver's license, personal automobile liability insurance, and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.
