Key responsibilities include organizing parts and consumables, receiving goods and services, managing scrap materials, and overseeing the disposal of obsolete inventory and assets located on-site.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage Physical Inventory at the MD locations.
  • Assist with strategic vendor inventory programs/partnerships.
  • Work with procurement and operations to identify any obsolete inventory. Manage scrapping, selling or re-utilizing obsolete inventory/assets with proper approvals.
  • Clean and organize parts by category of product, labeling racks and setting location codes.
  • Manage receipt and stocking of incoming goods, as well as assisting getting parts to proper locations.
  • Assist with submission of requisitions for the MD team for PO processing, when necessary.
  • Performing regular inventory checks
  • Ability to operate a tow motor and telehandler size equipment.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs consistently.
  • Manage central receiving functions for various locations with high level of accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
RequirementsQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of receiving, parts management experience required.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties with little to no supervision.
  • Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office or moderately loud when in the field.
  • Perform all work per YBP Safety policies.
  • Capable of operating various types of office equipment including but not limited to computers, copiers, and scanners.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
  • Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
