Duration: 12 Months contract

Job Description:

Receiving Inspection CMM Technician V for the Manufacturing Technical Operations division located in Houston, TX. The Receiving Inspection CMM Technician V will create metrology programs using CALYPSO and/or Zone3 software for the inspection of surgical products using Zeiss CMMs and OGP Visual Measurement Systems within the quality organization. The Receiving Inspection CMM Technician V will also perform:

Measurements to support the GR&R analysis of the inspection routines

Create standardized work instructions and report templates to ensure high quality and robust inspection process

Hands-on support of Incoming Inspection to confirm visual and dimensional Out of Specifications of received products

Promote cooperation and teamwork within the quality control department through open, candid communication and timely coordination

Must Have Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

Demonstrated experience using Calypso

Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Work hours: Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Preferred skills:

-Experience in using Zone3, and MeasureMind software

-1+ year of experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment

-Experience with SolidWorks
