Receiving Inspector - Staffing Now : Job Details

Essential Functions:

• Inspect incoming materials: components and tooling per drawings and specifications.
• Verify material and processes certs for thoroughness and correctness.
• Select appropriate measuring gages to ensure materials are accurately inspected.
• Accepting or rejecting incoming materials.
• Document inspection results on inspection plans and save records in the ERP system.
• Ensure open inspection lots are processed within 48 hours of receipt.
• Use of various manual measuring gages and Hexagon,GD/T
• Generate material review request (MRR) for all nonconforming materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerencing.

Machines, Tools and Equipment Used:

• Micrometer, calipers, optical comparator, vision system, CMM, height/drop gage, bore gage, surface profilometer, microscope, thread gages and other measuring gages.
