Receiving Inspector - PGS Worldwide : Job Details

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Receiving Inspector to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Archbald, PA. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Performs manual and clerical duties involved in receiving materials, supplies, and equipment. Normally utilizes computers to enter transactions, validate information, and maintain a database. Within prescribed limits unpacks and examines items received and verifies completeness against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; keeps records of goods received; rejects damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and processes necessary paperwork to notify appropriate purchasing, material, vendor, and other concerned organizational personnel. Routes materials to inspection, stores, or other destinations; and may operate mobile equipment used to move materials. Answers inquiries concerning the status of rejected or other goods.

First Shift hours: 6:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship
• Actual Inspection Experience. True inspection of parts
• Similar industry experience

Desired:

• References to tools used in previous roles. (Calibers, Micrometers, CMM-Coordinated measuring machine)
