Receiving Technician ES - Republic Services : Job Details

Responsible for coordinating and sampling inbound hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring that all inbound materials are in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations and are properly routed for disposal. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Arranges and tracks shipments for waste received at facility to be transported to another disposal location. Maintains accurate and updated inventory of all waste and reagents stored on site. Creates load composition for outbound shipments to a Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF). Generates shipping paperwork. Coordinates shipping schedules with outbound transporters and TSDF's. Identifies and takes a role in resolving waste discrepancies and inventory-related paperwork problems. Ensures waste is properly segregated and stored. Coordinates with personnel to resolve discrepancies and communicate resolution with receiving TSDF. Enters inbound shipments into the tracking database.
