Benefits offered. Arizona State Retirement System eligible. Start Date: February 19, 2025, may start prior for training. SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: Check in Substitutes, answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments, greet and direct parents, public, students and staff.
Greet substitutes, check identification and assist in providing information particular to our building. Sign-in sheet, IDs, etc. Find coverage for teachers who have not been assigned a sub. Prepare timesheets to compensate teachers that have worked on their prep. Notify building principal of all reassignments and shortages. Greet visitors coming into office/building and direct to appropriate individual/department. Answer all incoming calls and direct to appropriate individual or department. Answer basic questions and give requested directions or other information directly or by phone. Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to maintaining copier, loading toner, paper and assisting if machine malfunctions. Calling for maintenance or supplies. Put in work orders for teachers and staff in Cleanteligent system or District Maintenance. Keep Mr. Donner aware of any major work orders. Order supplies for front office, student passes/call slips and admit slips. (Paper is ordered by bookkeeper). Preparation of bulk mailings, progress reports and grades. Collect AIA packets from student athletes and receive payments when bookstore is closed. Send notification to outside vendors when there are any schedule changes. SPECIFIC TRAINING OR JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification, with one year of secretarial coursework.
- Ability to deal effectively with parents, staff and students.
- Estimated length of time required for new entrant to achieve acceptable level of proficiency: One week.
