You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.Summary:Our Receptionist / Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of customer service is given to AMSURG visitors and callers. This position provides support for employees and guests of the company and is an integral part of the facility management team providing administration of facility activities for our office in Nashville. The position provides general office support with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks. Work Schedule:This role requires an onsite presence Monday - Friday, working normal business hours.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • General reception duties:
    • Greet visitors and vendors
    • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
    • Maintain inventory of office supplies
    • Mail and package sort/distribution
    • Incoming and outgoing mail processing
  • Facilities management back-up/support, mail room support:
    • Back-up to Facility Manager for access control/badge distribution
    • Receiving, sorting, and distributing of incoming mail
    • Support the remote employees in the sorting and scanning of their mail
    • Participate in Life Safety team
    • Assists in monitoring breakroom supplies; alerts manager if issues arise
    • Assists the Shred vendor while in the office for shred bin access
    • Monitors incoming service requests
    • General administrative support to team
  • Office Concierge:
    • Assists with check-in process for reservation system
    • Monitor reservation system and office occupancy, prepare reports as requested
    • Monitor conference rooms for set-ups, cleanliness, and alert proper teams when repairs are needed

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize task and follow up in a timely manner on open items
  • Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis
  • Regular and reliable attendance
Education / Experience:
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited College or University and 2+ years of previous receptionist experience. If no degree, then 5+ years of current receptionist experience will be considered.
  • Excellent grammar and capable of communicating with individuals in a professional manner.
  • Professional appearance at all times.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
