Matura Farrington is seeking Receptionist candidates for a global Financial Services firm located in Century City. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, and ideal candidates should have some experience within a professional office setting. Ideal candidates will have some experience with customer service, guest services, or retail.

Summary

This position provides administrative and reception support for office. This Receptionist performs duties such as answering the telephone, providing client and employee assistance, managing mail and working on special projects. Also, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
  • Maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks
  • Greets visitors and answers questions, in person and by telephone
  • Responds to inquiries from employees, clients and others, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department
  • Maintains office wide calendar
  • Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • Assists with additional projects and events around the office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree a must
  • Experience within a professional office setting is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
