Receptionist - Construction Worldwide : Job Details

Prestigious, well established and successful company in the financial district of S.F. is looking for a professional receptionist. A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate staff members, greeting visitors as well as additional administrative support duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Professionally administer all incoming calls.
• Ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly.
• Greet visitors in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner.
• Assist with booking conference rooms as needed, for meetings, trainings and interviews.
• Distribute daily attendance list, communicating whereabouts of executives and other employees.
• Maintain reception area, lunchroom and main conference room.

KEY RELATIONSHIPSThe Receptionist will be interfacing internally with all staff members and externally with vendors, visitors including clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors.QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective verbally and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office and database software preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter who takes initiative.
• Must be highly organized with a great attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff is critical.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's Degree is a plus. Minimum of two years working in an office setting is preferred.

WORK HOURS

8 hours per day from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an hour lunch.

The receptionist is expected to have the switchboard open and operating at 7:30 a.m.
